Pick Up & Hitch Up

Arrive with valid ID, a vehicle capable of towing, and the correct hitch setup. We'll get you rolling.

Return & Done

Return the trailer clean and in good condition by your agreed time. No runaround, no surprises.

What You'll Need

Rental Requirements

Meet these basics and we'll have you on the road fast.

Driver & ID

  • Valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Phone number for contact during rental period
  • Signed rental agreement at time of pickup

Vehicle & Towing Setup

  • Vehicle with adequate tow rating for chosen trailer
  • Correct ball size: 2" for utility / 2-5/16" for dump and hauler
  • Working 4-pin or 7-pin trailer connector
  • Safety chains and functioning brake lights

Payment

  • Full rental fee due at time of pickup
  • Cash or electronic payment accepted
  • Damage deposit may be required
  • Cleaning or damage fees charged at return if applicable

Trailer Return

  • Return by the agreed time on your return date
  • Trailer must be returned clean and free of debris
  • No hazardous or illegal materials
  • Late returns billed at daily rate per additional day

The 18' Utility Trailer requires a standard 2" ball. The 83"×14' Dump Trailer and 22' Car Hauler require a 2-5/16" ball. Not sure? Give us a call before you make the trip out.
Our standard pricing is per full day. For short same-day jobs, call us and we'll see what we can work out. Multi-day discounts may also be available.
At this time, trailers are pickup-only from our Paris, TX location. You'll need a vehicle capable of towing. Contact us if you need to discuss alternatives.
The renter is responsible for damage beyond normal wear during the rental period. We document the trailer's condition at pickup and return. Just communicate with us if something happens — we're reasonable people.
Dirt, gravel, sand, mulch, brush, tree limbs, demolition debris, and similar materials. Do not haul hazardous chemicals, petroleum products, or anything illegal.
No mileage limit. Take it where you need to go. Just have the trailer back by the agreed return date and time.
Yes — call or text before your original return time and we'll check availability. Extensions are billed at the daily rate.

Terms & Conditions

By renting from Iron Horse Rentals, you agree to the following terms.

Iron Horse Rentals — Rental Agreement Terms

  • The renter must be 18 years of age or older with a valid government-issued photo ID at time of pickup.
  • The renter assumes full responsibility for the trailer from the time of pickup to the time of return.
  • The rental fee is due in full at time of pickup. No trailer will be released without payment.
  • The renter is responsible for any damage to the trailer beyond normal wear and tear during the rental period.
  • Trailer must be returned in the same clean condition it was received. A cleaning fee of up to $50 may be charged for excessive debris.
  • Trailers must not be used to haul hazardous materials, flammable liquids, chemicals, or any illegal substances.
  • Overloading the trailer beyond its rated capacity is prohibited.
  • Late returns are billed at the full daily rate per additional day or any portion thereof.
  • Iron Horse Rentals is not liable for any injury, accident, loss, or damage resulting from use of the rental trailer.
  • The renter agrees to obey all applicable traffic laws and towing regulations during the rental period.
  • Iron Horse Rentals reserves the right to refuse service at its sole discretion.
  • Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, Lamar County.
